Sunriver is 15 miles south of Bend.
How far is Sunriver Resort from Portland?
Sunriver is 180 miles south (about 3-1/2 hours) of Portland.
How far is Sunriver Resort from Mt. Bachelor?
Sunriver is 18 miles (about 20 minutes) from Mt. Bachelor.
Is shuttle service available from the Bend/Redmond Airport?
Yes. Cost is $65 per person, one way - OR $65 for the 1st person and $10 for each additional person in the van (must be in the same group).
Who is considered a Resort Guest?
Anyone who books a Lodge Village room or suite, River Lodges Guestroom, or a private home or condominium from Sunriver Resort.
What are the hours of operation at the Front Desk?
The Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day.
Can I bring my pet to Sunriver Resort?
We have pet-friendly rooms available in a limited number of Lodge Village guestrooms and suites. A selection of our homes and condominiums also accept pets. Please call for availability.
What is the nearest commercial airport to Sunriver Resort?
The nearest commercial airport is located in Redmond, Oregon (RDM),approximately 35 miles or 45 minutes by car north of Sunriver. The airport is served by United Airlines/United Express and Alaska Airlines/Horizon connecting through Portland, San Francisco and Seattle with direct flights to all major US cities. Direct flights are also available from Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
What services are available at the Sunriver Airport?
Charters and sight-seeing through Sun Air (541-593-4603) by private plane.
When can I book tee times?
As a Resort guest, tee times can be made as soon as a reservation is booked.
When can I book tee times if we are not guests with the Resort?
Tee times can be booked ten days prior.
How can I play Crosswater?
Crosswater Club members and their guests, guests of Club management and guests of Sunriver Resort may play Crosswater.
Are there bike trails in Sunriver?
We have 35 miles of paved bike trails for both walking and bike riding. Use of rollerblades is prohibited in Sunriver per the Sunriver Owners' Association rules. The Concierge desk can provide trail maps for off-road riding as well.
Where are the swimming pools in Sunriver?
We have four pools available for Resort guest use: Two pools are managed by the Sunriver Owner's Association:
- The South Pool is located next to the Great Hall, and entrance is complimentary by showing your pool pass, received from the front desk.
- The North Pool is located at the Woodlands golf course, and entrance is complimentary by showing your Resort Guest ID card.
- The Lodge Pool is available to Resort guests and requires a room key for entrance. It is located adjacent to Lodge Village accommodations.
- The indoor lap pool at the Sage Springs Club and Spa is available to Sunriver Resort guests and members.
Are baby-sitting services available?
For activities during the day, Fort Funnigan is available for children ages 3 to 10 from 9am to 4pm daily during the summer months. We also have recommendations for local sitters to come to your unit while in Sunriver. These arrangements are made directly with the baby-sitter.
Does my unit have a DVD/VCR?
There will be at least one VCR in each of our homes and condos. Most have DVD players. Lodge Village and River Lodges do not come equipped with VCR's but do offer in-room movies.
Are there coffeemakers in the rooms?
Yes, in all units.
Does Sunriver Resort have room service?
Yes, offering limited menu selections. Room service is offered in Lodge Village suites and guestrooms and River Lodges guestrooms. Pizza delivery is available to private homes and condos.
Where can we eat?
Sunriver Resort has three restaurants: Merchant Trader Café for informal deli-style meals; Meadows At The Lodge for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and The Grille at Crosswater for fine, intimate dining. The Grille is open to Sunriver Resort guests only. There are also several other restaurants in the nearby Village Mall area.
Do we need linens?
No, the Resort provides all linens. In Lodge Village and River Lodges guestrooms, the linens are changed daily; homes and condominiums come equipped with washers and dryers.
Is maid service included?
Daily maid service is available in Lodge Village and River Lodges guestrooms. Homes and condominiums receive service once during a seven-night stay. Mini maid and full maid services are available for a minimal charge.
Who is responsible for cleaning the units at departure?
Sunriver Resort is. Excessive cleaning or additional hot tub chemicals may be an additional charge to guests.
